Note: Football here means Soccer..
Though, this
blog is creeping with computer stuff ( which is a very good approach by my team
members), m going to write some about the football.. Consider this as an
advertisement between a one break movie.. lol..
Sports has always been one of the greatest catalyst for the
evolution of mankind.. It makes u more logical, reasonable, and skilled and
whatnot.
Mine favourite sport is FOOTBALL... yeahh yeahhh... agreed..
it gets boring sometimes when scoreline reads 0-0.. But still, it's one of the
most exciting sport for me.. It has the potential to creep into your veins and
makes you energetic throughout those 90 awesome minutes (Sometimes extended to
120 min and then penalty shootout).. From their sprint to running with the ball,
their pyro-show celebration to sadness everything keeps you on the edge of your
seat (it keeps me edged, at least)..
I sorted out 4 main points, as per me, out of several, to
establish the fact that it is the most popular sport in the world. (Now, who
don't love football, don't make a scene here)
1. It is a GLOBAL sport
No matter in which country you live.. No matter what's the
economical condition of your nation is.. Not even your nation’s national sport
matters when it comes to football... It is loved by everyone across the globe..
People love the graciousness of football.. ( If football had been a religion,
no war would have ever took place on the basis of religious differences.. lol..
just a thought)..
Rules in football are very simple.. 11 players from one side
puts all their effort to smash the ball into opposition's net.. ( yeahh.. including
goalkeeper).. There is some rule regarding offside, which you will learn only
when you start playing football..(You’ll see the opposition scoring goal very
easily and then only you’ll get to know the meaning of offside.. lol..)
You don't need a whole lot of gears for playing football.. You
just need three things.. First off, A pair of strong leg (which u had from the
birth). Secondly, a football (it doesn't cost much) and last.. hell yeahh..!! a
lot of passion... So, grab all the three and just PLAY..

It doesn't matter whether you stand 5 foot short or 7 foot
long, Football is for all.. The only thing that counts is agility, Speed and
your footwork..(Though, many more things count but i found these three the
fundamental)..
Sir Lionel Messi, who stands just 5 foot 7 inch graced the
football pitch with his mesmerizing touches and now the rest is history (And he
is still writing the history for the future J..
