INTRODUCTION

Hello guys today I will give you introduction on mechanical engineering field. After reading this introduction you will have better idea about the mechanical field.

So basically whenever you hear the word mechanical your mind visualizes of cars, manufacturing, big machines and even space.

But actually it is more than that mechanical field is field of mechanics. Now obviously question will arise that what does this mechanics include?

Mechanics is study of science concerned with behavior of body under motion when force is applied this body can be as small as atom or can be as big as a planet :)

Mechanical engineering deals with several discipline like physics, material science, production, analysis, operating machines and much more.

The study of mechanical engineering includes several subjects named Thermodynamics, Fluid mechanics, statics and dynamics, computer aided design, Nano technology just name of few.

Now let’s come to current mechanical engineering field functions in industry or for any organization. Due to technological evolution new trend comes in mechanical engineering but the concept of mechanical engineering is still unchanged.

 Generally mechanical engineering field includes designing & analysis, R&D, quality control, management production and other which can be illustrated simply by chart given below.

Nowadays mechanical field is divided into several sub engineering fields which includes automobile engineering, production engineering ,power plant engineering, aeronautical engineering, nanotechnology engineering. Also they have application in other engineering field like civil
