In this I will be discussing about the Britain's decision to fight back cyber attacks.
Today Chancellor of Britain Philip Hammond will be pledging that Britain will be preparing to fight back cyber attacks from cyber criminals and other foreign governments.
For doing so a program of £1.9 billion will be on the run in order to gurantee security to some important national infrastructure like power grid networks and air traffic controls.Extra funding will be provided in order to fight back cyber attackers through law enforcements and measures.
Britain is very much vulnerable to cyber attacks as a result of it's aging commercial IT systems, going down on the number of computer security experts and increase in user-friendly hacking tools.
Chancellor will also be mentioning about the security risk that Internet Of Things poses.
As part of the program a new cyber security research institute will be launched in order to improve the defense of Britain.
Cabinet minister Ben Gummer marked that the primary duty of the government is to safeguard the nation and thus to do that it is necessary that nation is secure at cyberspace.He also mention that it is matter of proud that UK leads the world in cyber security.
The government came up with the cyber defense after the MI5 chief Andrew Parker blamed Russia for pushing a foreign policy in which cyber attacks on UK was included.
Well it seems that Britain is taking things seriously....
