Computer Hardware Basic

Computer Hardware
Hi friends! Today introduce you to computer hardwares
  • A Computer System Consists Of Two Major Elements: HARDWARE and SOFTWARE
  •   Computer hardware is the collection of all the parts you can physically touch
  • Computer software on the other hand is not something you can touch
  •  Some hardware components are easy to identify, such as the computer case,  keyboard, and monitor, however these are many different types of hardware
  •  This parts are almost always found inside the computer’s housing
1.     Mother board: A motherboard is one of the most parts of a computer system. It holds together many of the crucial components of a computer, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory and connectors for input and output devices .

2.     Central processing unit (CPU): A central processing unit (CPU) is the electronic circuitry   within a computer that carries out the intrusion   of a computer program by performing the basic arithmetic, logical, control and input/output (I/O) operations specified by the instructions.

3.     Random access memory (RAM):  random access memory a type of computer memory that can be accessed randomly; that is, any byte of memory can be accessed without touching the preceding bytes.

4.     Power supply: A power supply unit converts mains AC to low-voltage regulated DC power for the internal components of a computer.

5.     Video card: A video card connects to the motherboard of a computer system and generates output images to display.

6.     Hard drive (HDD): A hard disk drive (HDD), hard drive or fixed disk is a data storage device that uses magnetic storage to store and retrieve digital information using one or more rigid rapidly rotating disks coated with magnetic material.

7.     Solid-state drive (SSD): A solid-state drive is a term used to describe a storage media that does not involve magnetic disks or any moving parts. For example, computer memory (RAM), utilizes solid state media. RAM consists of microchips that store data on non-moving components, providing for fast retrieval of that data.

8.     Optical drive (BD\DVD\CD): An optical drive (DVD) uses a laser light to read data from or write data to an optical disc.

9.     Card reader (SD\SDHC\CF, etc.): A card reader is a device for accessing the data on a memory card such as a Secure Digital (SD), Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) or CompactFlash (CF) etc.
