As we are aware in 2016 there were many cyber threats like 15.4 million people were targeted and consumers have loose $16 billion in their business.(fraudsters).
In this last month of December for Bonanza company( Bonanza Portfolio Ltd), it is a stockbroker company which provides a trading account, online sharing, IPO(Initial public offering), PMS etc for consumers who pick all financial and personal data of customers while do online shopping
What attackers do? For making a quick profit ? They use the wallets at your expenses by using their credit card, sign in credentials, at a webite login page to separate the stock and then sell to the black market. The trader also does data breach ( is a security which protects confidential data that are copied or viewed by another person ). Whenever customers personal ID is in public like credit card Numbers or email Id they crack them and steal all the data by an unauthorized person.
How to protect yourself:-
1) Keep updated all the time of all your accounts passwords, in which bank you are investing and banking accounts too.
2) Update your password in every 4 months if any doubt how to set the password here are some hints
The Magic Number:- To set the password it takes few minutes to break the code to know how many characters are including in password for example 8 characters password. For a user, it should be up to 10-12 characters on the login page. If we see it is not the problem of passwords how to give a protected password with proper length in that we use.
Complexity:- In this, your password should be easy for you to remember but hard for a broker to find it if you set your date of birth your name it is to easy to find instead of this if you put the combination of mix Capital letters and numbers with Symbol and then create a password
Don't forget to use ( MFA) Multifactor Authorization is a type of security system that protects user gadgets and giver more than 1 method for authentication which requires the user to use the mobile plus to verify username and password.
3) Protect your important data:- Don't give your security numbers to anyone.
Send bill payments through bank only not to give to anyone else like in Gym or on a cell phone.
4) Another security send a code to your mobile when you set a password and by that code, you can open your page in a shot it will help to protect yourself from the 3 party.
5) Keep your devices Safe:- Keep your device OS always updated and software also. If you are Leaving the page no need to save the password.
6) Don't use unprotected Wi-fi
