BitGrail is based in Italy and last week the company declared that they were hacked and lost almost 17 million Nano cryptocurrency and at present it worth $160 million. Nano cryptocurrency was previously known as RaiBlocks also. The company declared on it's own website that the company had became a victim of cyber attack after doing security check and they also found some of the unapproved transactions worth $160 million. The proprietor of BitGrail tweeted on twitter that the company is not able to refund all it's customers as the current value of the company itself is only 4 million Nano which is predicted to be $40 million.
"NANO on BitGrail have been stolen. Unfortunately there is no way to give it back to you at 100%(we only got 4MLN XRN right now). The devs, as you have guessed, don't want to collaborate." This was the tweet of the owner of BitGrail cryptocurrency exchange. They declared the list of stolen items contains only Nano cryptocurrency. One of th Reddit user said,"Something that needs to be addressed is that quite a few of these "exchanges" are set up by near-college-age "devs" who are only a couple years past graduating from their javascript boot campus."
